Your OT's Guiding Question
What's meaningful to you, and how do we make it doable?
Think of your Occupational Therapist as the Swiss Army knife of therapies. Function-oriented. Pragmatic. Versatile. Different tools for different parts of daily life. Your Everyday Engineerβ’ Not actual engineers β just really practical therapists.
Do we build your skills? Adapt the task? Shape the environment β physical, institutional, or social? Or harness the strengths you already have?
In effective therapy, itβs usually all the above.
