- Still wondering if it’s just you
When support fits
- Mornings that start without a fight
- Energy left at the end of the day
- Work or school arranged around how you function
- Knowing what you need, and how to ask for it

Common questions
Telehealth OT in Ontario, answered.
We work with Autistic teens and adults, and caregivers, across Ontario by video. These are the questions people in Ontario ask most before working with us. If yours isn’t here, ask on the free discovery call.
Telehealth occupational therapy works for a wide range of goals: burnout prevention and recovery, executive functioning, unmasking, processing a new diagnosis, sensory supports, and social communication and relationships. We also help with home and life management, self-care routines, emotional and energy regulation, and workplace disclosure and accommodations. Sessions are tailored to your needs and priorities.
Always a licensed occupational therapist. Your OT is either registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), or registered in another province and allowed to see Ontario clients by video under a national agreement between OT regulators. Either way, they answer to their college and will tell you where they’re registered. Sessions run on secure, privacy-compliant telehealth software.
Yes. Our online OT is available across Ontario, including rural and underserved areas, from Northern Ontario and cottage country to small towns across the south. As long as you have a reliable internet connection, you can work with a registered OT from home.
No. Many of the people we work with are self-identified, waiting on an assessment, or found out late in life. You don’t need a diagnosis to begin, and we won’t ask you to prove anything. Some funding sources do require one; if that applies to you, we’ll say so plainly on the call.
There are several funding options for OT in Ontario. Coverage may be available through the Ontario Autism Program (for clients under 18), Passport funding for eligible adults with a developmental disability, most extended health plans, and some workplace or disability-specific supports. Fees you pay that aren’t reimbursed can be claimed as medical expenses on your tax return. We’ll tell you the exact fee on the free call, before you commit to anything.
No. Everything we do with you happens over video, or by phone if you’d rather, including the free call. For routines, energy, sensory needs and daily tasks, your own space is where the work happens anyway. If a goal ever genuinely needs hands-on help, we’ll say so and help you find it.
Teens and adults, in their own sessions. If your child is 12 or under, we work with you instead, through caregiver coaching: you meet with the OT by video, and together you plan supports you can use at home. Your child doesn’t need to be on the call.
